Cell Phone: Im Pulling my Hair out !?
I have a prepaid AT&T Cell phone, the C-139 Motorola model. I dont like it so my friend is gonna give me his old Verizon LG VX 6000 flip phone. Can I just swap sim cards and his will work for me ? I dont use the cards to purchase minutes, I call and give AT&T my banking numbers and they deduct from my account. Will this phone work for me ? I just want another phone, is all, I hate this little azz C-139 phone, its like talking on a mini candybar !
He bought His CX6000 from an AT&T Store so it should work right ?
He bought His VX6000 from an AT&T Store so it should work right ?
If i have a Rogers Sim, will Nokia or the VX6000 phone work ?
The VX6000 will not work with any sim cards. It is a CDMA phone, which doesn't use sim cards. You'll have to find a GSM phone to use. The store he bought it from was most likely not strictly AT&T.
