What's a really durable and easy to use Verizon Wireless cell phone?
My plan is up for renewal, and I've been looking into Blackberrys and Palms and even the Kin. I really would like a PDA phone, but if my dad decides the $30 internet charge is too much, I can get the simple multimedia phones where its only $10 a month. Those are like the EnV3 and Rouge and stuff. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ENVTOUCH! I had it for a week and had to give it back, it was TERRIBLE. So i'd like to know what phones I should look into.
I'm leaning towards a Blackberry
Something without a FULL touch screen
QWERTY keyboard
Relatively good camera quality
Thanks<3
Well, the Kin definitely isn't a PDA phone. It's just a social-enabled feature phone based on a smart phone OS. It's nice, but not what you're looking for.
The Blackberries are decent phones, tho if you've used any of the newer phones like the Android handsets, you'll find them feeling quite outdated.
I've not really used the Palm Pre or Pixi. One of my geeky friends has the Pre and loves it. It doesn't have many apps available.
I'd recommend either looking into the Motorola DROID, or waiting for the LG Ally (due out later this month). They both run Google Android, and have a full QWERTY keyboard. I have the Motorola DROID and love it. However, being as it has a rather large screen, the battery drains quickly. My old Blackberry Tour did much, much, much better as far as battery life goes.
