Can I use a Treo on Sprint with a regular phone plan (NOT a data plan)?
I had a Razr and a regular talk/text plan (450 minutes a month or whatever) on Sprint, and I accidentally ruined the phone. I am considering buying a used Treo 650 from eBay (with a clear ESN) and having it activated onto my account. I don't ever use things like internet, TV, or downloads on my phone... my main reason for wanting a Treo is for the PDA/organizer capabilities, and the fact that there is a QWERTY board for texting. Just need to chat and text, and then organize some appointments and assignments... no web browsing or music, thanks!
Will Sprint let me activate such a phone onto my existing account, without upgrading to PowerVision or whatever their super expensive data plans are?
Well, powervision is only $15 a month if you want it, but if you don't you can definetely use it and not take advantage of all the other stuff. just take it to your nearest store or call sutomer care (8882114727) and they will activate and program it for you. Just let them know you don't want any vision package on it. (but texting is extra so add whatever plan you want for that)Good Luck
