How do i set up the browser on my blackberry curve 8330?
I just bought a used, yet mint condition Blackberry Curve 8330 on Ebay. It is working fine as a phone and I am not worried at all about the condition of the phone. It is in perfect condition. I purchased this phone for internet and FACEBOOK. But the phone does not have a browser....at all. I've heard that I might need a CD, but it didn't come with one. I know that my cell phone plan with verizon has internet everything, (I paid a lot extra) I've checked out phone scoop.com and the blackberry website, and they all keep talking about an email account with the blackberry server and I have no idea what that means. There has to be a way that I can put a browser on my phone right?
First of all, make sure you are signed up for the data plan.
If you have the data plan try this:
Options icon - Advanced Options - Host Routing Table
Scroll down until you find an entry in bold type (it may be quite a way down the list). With the entry highlighted hit the menu key (the one with 7 dots) and select "Register Now".
After the registration is done reboot your phone.
