How to fix it myself LCD screen on cell phone?
I have a LG AX8600 with a broken main lcd screen and was wondering how much would it cost to get replaced professionally or how to do it myself
Either solution you mentioned is do-able. Getting the screen repaired professionally is never cost-effective, but depending on how tech-savy you are it may be your only option. If you feel confortable replacing it yourself, look on ebay, or other auction sites for a replacement screen. Many sellers will offer the exact screen for a much cheaper price then a professional.

However then the problem of installing the screen comes up. Evaluate how tech-savy you are and whether you can do it yourself or pay (probably atleast another $30) and have a repair shop do it.
