nokia phone question ~urgent~?
hi in about 9 hours i am going to Bali for almost a month (23 days) I am bringing 2 phones and I was wondering about a couple of questions here they are:
1. Are the nokia 6121, nokia 6300 triband and motorola krzr k1?
2. If I buy simcards for them over there will I need to use triband or any other features?
3. what the easiest way to find out if my hpne is unlocked apart from putting another simcard in because I don't have another one.
4. how do I turn on triband and change the GSM and all that on a nokia and motorola??

The K1 and the 6300 I am sure are triband. Not too sure about the 6121. I guess www.nokia.com should have that info. As far as checking of the phones are unlocked, the only way you can check that is by inserting another sim card in them. Try and borrow one from a friend or something. Once it is established that the phone is unlocked then you dont need to switch on any triband. Once in Bali the phonoe should automatically pick up the band there. If you are interested in getting the unlock code for the K1 to unlock it (if it is not unlocked) then you can go to www.mobilesunlimited.com and contact them. They should be able to help you with that.
