How do I get a roommate evicted if she is abusing me?
My dad took in a tenant that has been out to get me from the start.
I'm 14 weeks pregnant and she has brought the phone into her bedroom, leaving the cord dangling across the top of the stairs where I could easily trip and lose my child. She's also been blasting the T.V and stereo in the wee hours of the morning when I need to be up for school. She's completely taken over my bedroom and every other room in the house including the room I will be using as my nursery with her boxes and boxes of crap. I'm not paying rent because it's my dads house, but she is receiving Ontario Works and not paying any rent, I know that this is committing fraud. They have a rent agreement for 400.00 per month and she's been there for two months and paid nothing. My dad refuses to do anything about it but I don't need this stress when I have a baby on the way. Does anyone with knowledge of the Canadian rental laws know what I can do about this?
Why is your dad not doing anything? Only he can evict her.
