Ok, another Cingular question. The phone i want to buy off the internet..........?
says you can put in your SIM card for cingular use. but it is also compatible for other carriers, nextel? verizon? fido, rogers? etc...so on...so if i put in my sim card, will anything wrong happen?? has anyone ever bought a used unlocked phone off the internet and had any problems?? i need to know immediately, bc i need a new phone soon. i will award the best most helpful answer with ten points.
It should be find when you use a sim card. The only service I know that isn't compatibel with Cingular/AT&T is Sprint which activates your phone via computers and not via the sim card. My friends and family occasionaly swap phones and all that's needed is your sim card. I wouldn't worry if it says you can put in yoru SIM card, you are good to go.
