what is the difference between a smart phone and cell phone?
I am due for a new phone soon and I was just wondering what the difference was before i purchase one.
A smartphone is just a term given to phones that can do more than basic calling, texting and picture-taking. Smartphones typically are able to browse the Internet using higher-speed networks, synchronize with email accounts, play music and video, run applications and act more like a 'computer' than your basic cellular dial-and-call phone.
