CDMA Question?
I have Verizon Wireless as my cell phone provider and want to upgrade to a smartphone. Can I just buy an unlocked smartphone off of Ebay and pull out some card and put it in the new one? Can I even do this? Thanks in advance.

CDMA phones don't use SIM cards. Sorry.
(Edit) ADDITIONAL DETAILS ANSWER: The CDMA system does not use a SIM card or any other sort of card. Everything is tied to the Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of the handheld device. No two devices will or can have the same ESN. The ESN is assigned to the device when it is manufactured. The only way to swap phones on a CDMA system is to call the carrier's Customer Service and have them do an ESN swap.
SIM cards are used on GSM systems. AT&T and Nextel are GSM carriers. CDMA phones will not work on a GSM system and GSM phones will not work on a CDMA system.
