Two questions on my Samsung Alias?
1) My smart friend hid my phone in her bag, and spilled Gatorade in her bag, so it got my phone superrr wet. I dried it off, and it turns on, but it says "SEARCHING SVC", and whenever i try to call someone it says "CDMA SERVICE UNAVAILABLE". How do I fix my phone!? :[
2] If I have to get a new phone, is it possible to buy a card or something so I can save my contacts, messages, sounds, etc? If so, what are they called?
To help fix the wet phone, remove the battery and stick it in a bag or rice for a few days. There is also a product called Rapid Dry that does the same thing only faster.
For your contacts, you can download the Back Up Assistant. There are detail on the Verizon site.
For your sounds, music, ringtones, save them to a memory (micro sd) card.
