Depends on which T-Mobile you are referring to, If you are talking about T-Mobile US it will NOT work as it is only a dual-band phone using 900/1800 bands, which are European bands. It will not work with any carrier in the US since it would need to have 850/1900 to be compatible with a US carrier for calls/text. T-Mobile US uses the 1900 band primarily(850 for roaming if a roaming partner is available) and the AWS 1700/2100 bands for 3G/4G. T-Mobile UK uses 900/1800, so it would work with them, but not T-Mobile US.
