can I switch my sim card to a new phone I bought without activation or any other fees?
I have a tmobile g1 phone and was planning on buying a mytouch 3g phone.CAN I switch my sim card to the new phone without any charges?
also does any1 know where I can buy a mytouch 3g for under $250 or $300?
You can transfer your sim card to a new phone so long as the new phone is unlocked and free of any contractual obligations. (i.e., If someone bought a phone from ATT and did not complete the term of the phone contract, you could have problems)
You also need to make sure that the new phone has the same frequencies and uses the same interface system as your current carrier (ATT and Tmobile use the same interface system -- many of the other carriers have a different interface system)
