How do i use my Moto Black Q9c from Alltel on Verizon?
Hi friends,
About two years ago I went to Thailand for work. I just got back and I went to Alltel to get my Moto Q9c phone turned on. I soon found out that Alltell is now Verizon!! I asked the Gentelman behind the counter to turn my service back on and he said that I ca not use my Moto Q9c on Verizon, So I have to buy a new phone!!
This Moto Black Q9c that I already have is in mint condition!!
Is there a way to get my Q9c to work on a prepay network? I really like this Q9c!
Please help me any one!!

If you had the Alltel phone still on and active then you could keep the phone for the time being since Verizon just switched over all of the existing plans and phones to their service network. However, being that the service was off and you want to activate new service you will have to use an actual Verizon phone. The Verizon system won't recognize an Alltel ESN so they won't be able to activate it on new service. As for the prepaid question, I know that Metro PCS advertises that they can reprogram existing phones to work with their service. The only problem is that Metro PCS isn't available everywhere in the US, so you might want to check their coverage map online before signing up.
